I am thinking: about where best to plant the Juniper tree I bought. It is residing in my garage currently.
I am thankful: that my dad did not lose his finger or hand when he got his hand smashed between two pieces of metal while fixing the combine during harvest time.
I am eating: popcorn. BOOM CHICKA POP. For dinner.
I am learning: how to add disquis comments to my blog. My template is not making this switch easy currently. I switched to Google+ but find I am having a hard time tracking if anyone comments & sometimes am unable to respond to them through the Google+ interface.
I am baking: Chocolate Zucchini Cake & something with raisins this week. Have you ever been at the grocery store and someone is carefully considering an item & eventually takes it & all you can think is I think I need that too? I was in the same aisle buying cornstarch, just so you don't think I grocery stalk.
I am wearing: American Eagle cutoffs & a t-shirt. I'm bare foot too. I was about to say it's hot out, but checked the weather app & it's only 23 degrees Celcius so obviously I'm in denial that summer is over even though I love fall weather clothes: sweaters, jeans, scarves, boots etc.
I am creating: a mess in my pantry. Putting away groceries today I was thinking what happened in here!
I am pinning: how to make fabric bows & headbands.
I am going: to North Battleford on L's day off to look at a sexy black pickup truck he's been eyeing on the Internet. Haha
I am hoping: J learns how to crawl in the next month. I get so excited for each development milestone.
I am hearing: The kids in the park behind my house.
I am reading: Interrupted by Jen Hatfield. I have a chapter to go. It's overdue at the library. I multitask read it this evening aloud while J jumped in her jolly jumper. I am enjoying these last few chapters and challenged to think missionally.
I am buying: Groceries & clearance O Canada picnic supplies. With yesterday's best of summer prompt I thought, after reading some of the linkup posts, everyone is so on trend recommending summery products. Obviously I've been living under a rock. Today I went to the biggest store in my small prairie town to see if I could spot any fabulous finds & really the only thing fabulous was the napkins I scored for next year's O Canada Day festivities for .79 cents. Or rounded up .80 cents. That's .61 cents American.
I am texting: L back after he texted to remind me to close the windows this evening as it is going to be cool tonight. I check the weather app & see it will be 11 degrees Celcius. Brrrr
I am watching: both Bridget Jones's Diary & Bridget Jones's The Edge of Reason before the sequel comes to the theatre mid September. You can see my recap of BJD here.
Outside my window: my neighbor with the big beard is manicuring his lawn. It is a gorgeous green carpet. It puts my dirt patch to shame. I really need to install those sprinklers & order sod now.
Around the house: there are Kleenex boxes strategically placed as L's allergies are in full swing.
One of my favorite things: Aveda shampoo. Oh heaven. Let me wash my hair all over again.

Currently in September

Reading... Paper Towns by John Green
Playing... Fetch for L when he's running late for work
Watching...CBC News - L turns it on while he eats his breakfast - I feel like it is the same miserable news stories that played yesterday and the day before. The Refugee Crisis. The Election. Our world is in a sorry state.
Trying...To stay awake after getting up with L at 4:45 am so I am tired at 8:30 pm
Cooking...Lasagna for dinner tonight for me and to box up for lunches for L. He gets fed supper daily at his work site before he comes home. (Note: I buy the pre-made noodles. Someday I will be adventurous and actually make the noodles from scratch. Today is not that day.)
Eating... Apple Cinnamon Cheerios... Mmm.
Drinking...Orange Juice. It makes taking my prenatal vitamins all that more exciting.
Calling...My mom later this morning to find out if my dad made it to Edmonton in Old Blue, my old Volkswagen Jetta that desperately needs some repairs.
Texting...L that I found his security pass.
Pinning... Exterior colours for home build. Since builder default is white garage doors I am thinking white trim with dark siding and a black roof.
Tweeting...Has been non existent in my life as of late. My last tweet was in March...oh dear!
Going...To the farmers market this morning.
Loving...Bullet journaling. This has opened my eyes to a new way of organizing/storing my thoughts, random ideas & finds, and to do lists.
Hating...Shipping rates from the United States to Canada. I'd like to purchase a Project Life baby kit which is priced at $29. Shipping is $50. Ouch! Also that the Canadian dollar is at an all time low.
Discovering...So many new blogs through this link up Blog-tember challenge. It's fascinating and a little intimidating.
Thinking...About what to buy for my friend for her baby shower next Saturday. She would like Melissa & Doug baby toys. If you are familiar with these baby toys, what would you recommend?
Feeling...Sore. It's a huge adjustment to go from our king size kingsdown mattress to a saggy double mattress in the furnished condo we rent. It's hard to get comfortable sleeping only on my left side with a pillow wedged between my legs.
Hoping... To find out the gender of our baby in 9 days.
Listening (to)...Shawna Niequest and Louie Giglio on Right Now Media.
Celebrating...being 22 weeks 5 days pregnant. Only 17 weeks 2 days left.
Smelling...like Aveda Shampoo. I have a love/hate relationship with showers. I love it when I'm finally in the shower and the waters the right temperature. Everything else is less than pleasant.
Thanking...our landlord for letting us stay an extra month as our next home will not be ready until October 28.
Considering...The next 10 years. I even made a chart. It's crazy I know. I was thinking about getting my masters in Art Education but then I will also need to plan, IF we have/can have a second baby, our next IVF Treatment cycles to fit within this schedule.
Starting...a Project Life Baby Album
Finishing...This blog post, then cleaning the kitchen before walking to the farmers market.
